Welcome

Sue Powers has been a highly respected and recognized member of the LPGA T&CP division since 2004 and fast tracked to Class A status in 2006. She achieved the LPGA’s highest honor when she was selected as the 2013 LPGA National Teacher of the Year, which recognizes the top teaching professional in the nation. She was mostly recently named 2017 LPGA Top 50 Best Teachers and is a  LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Site Director, growing the game of golf for the future.

Powers is a resident of Venice, FL and employed as the LPGA Class A Teaching Professional and Financial Controller at Pelican Pointe Golf & Country Club. Sue is partner of Nancy Lopez Golf Adventures, a company dedicated to making the game FUN for all levels of golfers by practicing the Play Happy philosophies of LPGA Hall of Famer Nancy Lopez..  Sue is a certified Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) instructor and a Frankly Frog Putting instructor.

Sue was a founding member of the San Jose State Women’s golf team under the direction of LPGA Hall of Famer, Betty Hicks and participates in LPGA T&CP division sanctioned tournaments throughout the United States.
